Our focus
California PAL focuses on providing youth with the tools and resources to succeed and recognizes the support of well informed, culturally and community informed law enforcement officers can have a positive and lasting impact on youth.

Focus on developing relationships between law enforcement and California community members to identify and solve problems.
Youth & Officer Mentoring
Pairs youth with a law enforcement officer from their community providing youth with social, emotional, and academic support.
Annual Training Conference
POST certified conference with learning opportunities and intense training on issues that directly affect PAL/SAL/YAL directors, officers, and volunteers.
Athletic Tournaments
Youth sport competitions that build confident young people through teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and pursuit of excellence.
College & Career Preparedness
Offers components for building college and career preparedness, and workforce development. Equips youth to think proactively about their future.

Offers youth a foundation in the concepts of healthy living to help them succeed in school, live safe, healthy lives and develop to their fullest potential.

Connects outdoor recreation programs with at-promise youth to give them opportunities to get outdoors and build a relationship with positive role models.

Training for youth organization staff to help them recognize the signs of child sexual abuse and report abuse they suspect is happening.
